If summer does not come to you…you have to go to the summer…

After a miserable winter comes a ….guess what…miserable summer of course! I am not usually the first one to complain about the weather, but something is going on there somewhere…the system is a bit out of balance in my opinion. Well – enough of it…back to the image content…It has been a while since my... (more)

Mr. Cli Mate Cha Nge

The spring has been a very special one. First it seemed it will arrive especially early in march, but then everything turned upside down. Now we are in the end of may, and there are no real signs of the warm sunny and windy days, that would dry up the soil and the fields. Never... (more)

One horse equals 3 hp?

Since I have been lucky spotting some moose the last month, I would like to continue with the animal in same size. This time though a bit more in the series “man and nature” especially how things used to be performed in the past. I hope this type of working will have its renaissance also... (more)

Preparation for hibernation

I have said it before and will probably say it many times in the future: the first light snow cover and the first thin sheet of ice on the lake is always magical. It is pure, fresh – virginlike and gives you the feeling of nature being reborn. Placing your feet on the thin ice... (more)

Harvest of summer-moods

The summer of all summers is now behind us – I only speak for my self…I had the chance to be on paternity leave and vacation for a total of 7 1/2 weeks, which was a totally new experience for me. I recommend it from my heart to all of you squirrels running in the... (more)

Summer sea- and cityscapes

After a poor winter comes a poor summer – isn’t it so? Well – I really cannot complain, once we have green trees, flowers on the meadows and even the sun every now and then appears in the sky. I prefer a poor summer before a poor winter, since snow is an obsession for me…... (more)

The panning period

The lamount of light has increased significantly over the last weeks, and we have already seen some migrating birds around here. We had some “last new snow” a week ago, so I had to trap the panorama gear and head out to a natural forest near by for some winter shots – they are quite... (more)

Merry Christmas and Happy New 2014

Time to wrap up the year and wish you all a Merry Christmas! This year has been in many ways different compared to previous years, especially when it comes to my photography. More selective shooting, enjoying the surroundings and not that much of pressure on just photographing. After many years of multitasking it felt good... (more)
