This website is a result of my idea how to introduce and give a common face of the surroundings I live in. My primary task is to reproduce the nature in Eastern Uusimaa, situated in Southern Finland, with photographs and short stories, that arises on my trips in nature.
My main area of action is as I mentioned Eastern Uusimaa, called Östnyland (swe) or Itä-Uusimaa (fin), and especially there Lappträsk (swe) Lapinjärvi (fin) with surroundings, since it is my home ground. My strength is 28 years of experience of living close to nature, and I know pretty well the region and animal behaviour there.
- In Naturegallery you can find nature photographs divided by the four seasons. You can use the search function to search for some specific species or places by using the scientific name (latin) of the species. You can also leave a comment.
- In Photodiary I try to write once a week, usually sunday, of the latest week and my activities in nature, and also present a picture of the week. Here you are also welcome to leave a comment.
- In Guestbook you can write down a greeting or comment.
- In Questions/Feedback you can write me on interesting matters or leave some feedback.
- In Photographer information you can find out who the person behind these pages are.
- In The nature photograpy exhibition 2005 you can watch my recent photo exhibition. These pages are unfortunately only in Finnish and Swedish.
