Lundfoto.com is the home of the finnish wildlife photographer Henrik Lund, showing the work produced since the start in 2004.
“I specialize in my own neighbourhood, and am open for all kinds of subjects. ‘Invisibly close’ -my latest exhibition, comprises everything I do in a nutshell. Wildlife photography really is a genre that does not need to involve traveling to the other side of the earth – instead your imagination is your only limits. My CV in wildlife photgraphy includes articles in publications like ‘Finlands Natur’ and ‘WWF Eko’. I have also worked in different projects for different companies as a freelance photographer, among which the finish nature centre Haltia and its exhibitions is the latest work.
The following wildlife photography competitions have given me some success since 2005: WildlifePhotographer of the Year (WPY) with highly and specially commended images in 2005, 2009 and 2011; GDT European Wildlife photographer of the Year with highly commended images in 2005, 2006 and 2007; Glanzlichter with a highly commended image in 2005; Vuoden Luontokuva (VLK) with a category winner in 2011 and a highly commended image in 2010.
As the father of three wonderful children, I try to inspire seeing visual wonders out there. After the third child was born, I have significantly reduced my time behind the lens, and try to capture the moment also sometimes without the camera – not so many updates as before, but I ensure you that when there is an update in the journal, there is a deeper meaning behind the image.
