The summer of all summers is now behind us – I only speak for my self…I had the chance to be on paternity leave and vacation for a total of 7 1/2 weeks, which was a totally new experience for me. I recommend it from my heart to all of you squirrels running in the wheel in your cage! No must do’s whatsoever – no telephone answering, no emailing, no computer work…I even had quite some break from photography and did a lot of physical activities instead. Some trips inside our beautiful country makes my summer – from the archipelago of Raseborg to the calm and peaceful forests in the northern Carelian region. I really love our beautiful country – that is why I most probably also love documenting it in photographs. Even if I have not had the energy of whitnessing the very early mornings, the bright nights of our mystical summer nor the breath-taking evening lights, I do not regret anything. We have made wonderful trips with the kids, and done things together – also taking pictures together. There is time for everything in life – just prioritise well!
Enjoy my summer in pictures!
