Snowfall

An oak in late autun colors during the first snowfall of atumn 2013. Lappträsk, Finland. October 2013.
It is starting to look a lot like Christmas..the air is getting colder and the snow has arrived. We have had many though autumn storms already, so the old saying that it takes three storms before it is winter seems to be true. I have put my effort when it comes to photography the latest months to photograph the new family member mostly. I have now had quite a calm period when it comes to wildlife photography – sometimes you need to get some visual thinking done, and not just run after every object that appears in front of you – so it has done e lot of good. Meanwhile I have been preparing my upcoming exhibition – “Nordic Light”, which is my 4th private exhibition. This time I chose high quality printing from Lightpress – their Chromaluxe -range is really something to look at! The first exhibition arena wil of course be – as I follow my own traditions – the library in Lapinjärvi. It will be the whole january on display there and there is actually a chance that you could get a sneak peak already before Christmas…
Welcome!
I give you two images of a recent snowfall – a bit of different look at the otherwise so traditional snowfall…you have to do it differently to pop out of the big mass…
